The Hospital at the Sound, which is located directly on the shore of the Strela Sound, was opened in 1938.
Projected as a naval hospital, it was meant to match not only the latest medical knowledge at that time, but also high aesthetic standards. After an extensive renovation, which was carried out between 1990 and 2000, the house situated in a park covered with old beech trees, with its main facade elegantly curved and showing towards the south again presents itself in its old beauty and with state-of-the-art techniques.
